Gem Drop is a small match-3 puzzle game that runs entirely in your web browser. It was built to be the opposite of most mobile puzzle games: no install, no account, no energy system, no timer pressure, no advertising, and no waiting for anything to unlock.
An 8×8 board of coloured gems. Swap two neighbours to line up three or more of the same colour. Cleared gems fall, new ones drop in, and chains score extra. You get 30 moves per game — a full round takes about two minutes.
The whole game is a single static HTML file with no libraries and no backend. There is no server-side logic, no database, and nothing is sent anywhere while you play. That means it loads fast, works offline once cached, and has no reason to ask you for anything.
The interface is designed touch-first: tap a gem, tap a neighbour. It also works with a mouse on desktop.
As it stands, the game shows no advertising and loads no third-party scripts. If that ever changes it will be stated plainly on the privacy page first, not buried.
Found a bug, or something that feels unfair — a board that dead-ends too early, a swap that should have matched but didn't? Reports are genuinely useful. Reach the site owner through the contact details published with this domain's registration.
